  1. A wonderful story about a wonderful place and wonderful canoes. Having visited Mt Carelton and camped on the Nepisquit Lakes in 1981 and again, more recently, in 2012, I have great memories of the area. In 2012, I attended Fiddles on the Tobique, the canoe festival organized by canoe builder Bill Miller, and paddled the Tobique in my Harold Gates canoe, that I bought from Harold in 1980. Great story!
